Clearwater Beach is rated as one of the best beaches in the USA every year. It has beautiful with sandy beaches, Pier 60 for fishing and sunset entertainment, and many great restaurants.

Clearwater Beach is a small welcoming beach town where many families choose to vacation each year. As a matter of fact, that is where my family vacationed each summer, and I was determined to live here when I grew up. Well, we moved here over 20-years ago and just love the area.

You will love the many boats that are available at the Clearwater Beach Marina. It has great fishing charter boats, sailing charter boats, sight-seeing boats, dinner cruises, dolphin tours, parasailing, and personal watercraft. There are restaurants, a gift shop, a barber shop, a nautical shop, a laundry, a mini-mart, a post office, and even a bait house. If you visit by boat, there are 23-boat slips available for transient boaters with vessels up to 125-feet.

There are several fun activities at the Clearwater Beach Marine Aquarium:

The Sea Life Safari Boat Tour a great 90-minute tour into the local intracoastal waters. We are looking for dolphins, sea birds, manatee on this narrated scenic ride to a shell island. They demonstrate how sea data is collected with a pull and then pass around sea critters before releasing them back to the bay. This is a great hands-on-activity.

You can get wet and wade with the aquarium dolphins. You get up close to an Atlantic Bottlenose dolphin and get your picture taken with the dolphin.

In the dolphin encounter, you will get wet. A 30-minute program working side by side with the staff while they train and feed a dolphin. The trainer also provides great info on the anatomy, intelligence and beauty of the dolphin. You will get a photo and t-shirt with this experience.
